• Costume Quest 2 - I LOVED this game!!! The entire concept of the game is pretty perfect. Anything halloween themed is right up my alley. The only bad thing I have to say about this game was the final battle was far, far too simple. I didn't see it coming at all and when it was finally over it left me a bit sad that it was over so easily.
• Royal Botanical Gardens - My favourite part of visiting these gardens would have to be all of the tiny adorable chipmunk friends! SO CUTE!
• Game of Thrones Season 6 - I have watched this series since it first started when I had just finished high school and I feel like this new season is utterly THRILLING.
• Dolce 21 Desserts - This is literally the best place for a treat I've ever come across. It's located in the Pacific Mall in Markham. Their Green Tea and red bean mochi is utterly dreamy. The best part is the adorable toppings that come with it. I would love to try the cotton candy one next time!
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides
Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol
A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro
Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte
Bossypants by Tina Fey
Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling
Needless to say, this month was filled with a ton of reading. My favourites were Bossypants and The Virgin Suicides. I love Tina Fey's perspective on life and enjoyed her stories and viewpoints more than any other comedy book I have read. I got a little bored when she was explaining about improv but I fell in love with her stories of her past as an awkward child and sentiments of feminism throughout the book. The Virgin Suicides is a book I have always loved and enjoy reading every page of. The nostalgia pours out of the pages and leaves me with similar feelings of a time and place I have never been.
