So long, August! You will most definitely not be missed. August's are for dreaming of fall for this girl and I am excited to see this hot and dull month disappear. Here are a few things I enjoyed thoroughly this month!

• Stranger Things on Netflix - Supernatural and horror are my absolute favourite genre of television so naturally this series lured me in and delighted me.
• I bought a new recipe box from Anthropologie! I am in love with this design.
• Sunflower fields - Sunflowers are my absolute FAVOURITE part of summer. Being in a sunflower field is absolute bliss for me. Unfortunately there was quite a drought in southern Ontario this year so the sunflowers were extremely short. Luckily enough we found a small patch of sunflowers that were 4-5 feet tall! It was a summer miracle in my eyes.
• Painting Halloween things - I won't lie. I start seriously dreaming about halloween in late July or early August and my illustrations tend to reflect this every year.

What I read:

Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki

The Last Unicorn by Peter B. Gillis

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
